About
As a designer, I believe that self-awareness is far more important than mere creative output. By understanding ourselves, we can more effectively realise our personal growth and potential, which are crucial in the design process.
“Routine tape” aims to explore whether our precisely recorded and repeated daily activities can reasonably be defined as a “life algorithm.” Daily routines are automatically stored and executed in the brain and reinforced through repetition, forming automated behaviour patterns. The project is divided into two parts: behaviour reflection and behaviour nudge. It encourages users to reflect on the uniqueness and autonomy of their lives. Are human behaviours inherently patterned? The project also includes anti-repetition cards and personalised interventions designed to help users break repetitive routines, promoting self-improvement and behavioural optimization.
